Oracle Application Express Workshop II
Oracle Application Express: Administration
Oracle Database 11g: Data Guard Administration
Oracle Database 11g: Managing Oracle on Linux for DBA's
Oracle Database 11g: SQL Tuning Workshop
Oracle Database 12c: Performance Management and Tuning
In the Oracle Database 12c: Performance Management and Tuning course, learn about the performance analysis and tuning tasks expected of a DBA: proactive management through built-in performance analysis features and tools, diagnosis and tuning of the Oracle Database instance components, and diagnosis and tuning of SQL-related performance issues. In this course, you will be introduced to Oracle Database Cloud Service.
Oracle Database 18c: Administration Workshop
This course provides detailed information on the architecture of an Oracle Database instance and database, enabling you to manage your database resources effectively. You learn how to create database storage structures appropriate for the business applications supported by your database. In addition, you learn how to create users and administer database security to meet your business requirements. This course provides basic information on backup and recovery techniques. To provide an acceptable response time to users and manage resources effectively, you learn how to monitor your database and manage performance.
Oracle Database 18c: Backup and Recovery Workshop
The student begins by gaining a deeper understanding of possibly the most important job of a DBA – backup and recovery. The concepts and architecture that support backup and recovery, along with implementation in various ways and situations are covered in detail. Students gain knowledge of the Recovery Manager (RMAN) command-line interface for various backup, failure, restore, and recovery scenarios, including data duplication. Extensive hands-on practices and workshop scenarios provide the student with experience in a realistic technical environment. This course includes an interactive workshop that provide participants with opportunities to diagnose and recover from several failure scenarios, based on backup and recovery case studies.
Oracle Database 18c: Managing Multitenant Architecture Ed 1
This course covers all aspects of the multitenant architecture, providing detailed information on the components of a CDB and its regular and application PDBs. You learn why and how to create and manage a CDB and its regular and application PDBs, with storage structures appropriate for the business applications. You practice cold and hot cloning, plugging unplugged PDBs in CDBs using various methods. In addition, you learn how to ensure the security within the containers of the CDB. You create common and local users, grant common and local privileges and roles, and administer database security to meet your business requirements by using encryption, Database Vault and auditing. This course includes CDB and PDBs backup, duplicate, recovery and flashback procedures. You learn how to monitor the performance and manage resources within a CDB and its PDBs, and within each PDB. It introduces the data movement capabilities between non-CDBs and PDBs, and between PDBs. Finally, it is also covers the procedures of upgrading an Oracle Database 12.2 CDB to an Oracle Database 18c CDB or an Oracle Database 12.2 PDB to an Oracle Database 18c PDB.
